Care Label Sample Case: Layout and Language Version Review

These real CanKun care label examples show two layout tasks: dense text on cream labels arranged in folded shapes, and repeated information on black label rolls. Use the photographs to prepare a care label design review, then approve your own wording, material, dimensions and attachment on a physical sample.

The examples are made to customer requirements. This is a photographed sample case about layout and version control. The visible result is the printed sample arrangement, rather than a measured customer delivery or wash-test result.

Planning your order? Explore custom care labels for clothing, or request a care label layout review. Supply your own approved wording, language versions, finished dimensions, attachment and quantities. Use the published photographs as layout references and identify any separate performance checks you require.

Sample A: cream labels with dense text

Two cream printed samples arranged in folded shapes. Review the text area and intended visible face together.

The photograph shows several short lines of blue text, separated information areas and curved, folded arrangements. For a new multilingual care label, the useful question is how much of the approved content remains visible after the intended attachment. The photographed arrangement does not define an approved production fold or seam allowance for your garment.

Give each language block a place in the approved artwork. Ask the reviewer to compare the exact text and line breaks with the approved content file, then check the actual-size sample at its proposed sewing position. Adding another language may require a layout change; shortening approved wording needs a new content approval.

Sample B: repeated information on black rolls

Repeated text and symbol areas on two black rolls. Specify the repeat, cut and version identification for your own order.

Light lettering and symbol rows repeat along each roll. The two visible rolls contain different wording. When ordering rolls, identify the approved version, quantity unit, proposed cut length, cutting instructions and any packing separation. A similar background or shared brand does not mean that two label versions contain the same information.

Composition, origin wording and symbols visible on these samples belong to the displayed artwork. They are not instructions to copy onto another garment and do not establish the origin of CanKun’s manufacturing, a certification or a tested performance claim. Supply the content approved for your own product and intended market.

Keep content approval separate from sample approval

  1. Release the content: the buyer names an approver for wording, symbols, garment composition and language versions.
  2. Approve the layout: map that content to the artwork revision, dimensions and attachment drawing. Keep label substrate separate from the garment fibre statement.
  3. Check the physical sample: review readability, colour appearance and text exposure at the intended sewing position. Record the sample identifier and any required changes.
  4. Release the production reference: retain the approved content, layout and sample with the quantity for each version. Define any performance test separately and retain its actual result.

The photographs support the visible layout comparison. They do not supply fixed material composition, measurements, approved commercial folds, wash durability, order quantities or customer delivery results. Those details are selected, checked and recorded for the actual order.

Prepare your own custom care label brief

Use the care label template and version approval guide and save a copy of the editable language-version worksheet. List each garment style, approved language set, artwork revision, quantity, destination and any pending decision.

Browse custom care labels for clothing and send your sample requirements for review. CanKun’s starting MOQ is 100 pieces, with the final minimum confirmed per specification. Samples are free, with shipping and special requirements confirmed separately. Sampling normally takes around 3 days after artwork and specification review; bulk production usually takes 7–15 days after physical sample and specification approval. Wu Jess follows up within 24 hours.

REFERENCE SPECIFICATION · 参考规格

Reference specification for a new sample

These are proposed values for a NEW sample. They are not measurements of the photographs, a recovered order, a signed production sample or a test result.

Existing evidence and its limits

The published photographs show blue text on cream samples arranged in folded shapes, and different light-text layouts repeated on black rolls. They establish visible layout and version differences, not substrate composition, production fold or roll pitch.

Material, print and fold

Reference option: cream/off-white single-face polyester satin with black resin thermal-transfer print and heat-cut edges. Flat 30 × 70 mm, centre-folded to 30 × 35 mm; reserve 5 mm at the open ends for the seam, leaving approximately 30 × 30 mm visible.

Layout and supply

For this proposed zero-gap layout only, repeat pitch is 70 mm; keep any registration mark in the seam allowance. Confirm printer/cutter needs before release. Proposed EN then FR only if both languages are required; the garment owner supplies actual composition, care wording and symbols.

Photograph / comparison boundary

This reference uses black print and a proposed satin substrate. The existing cream photographs show blue print; neither the print colour, satin identity nor these dimensions are being assigned to those samples. Nylon requires its own identified substrate and print trial.

Size and quantity reference for a coordinated order

For standalone woven or printed size labels, a planning example is XS/S/M/L/XL at 100 pieces per size: 500 pieces, packed 50 pieces per bag and separated by size. For a two-card hang-tag set, use the separate set-based example in the size guide. The unit, artwork version and actual garment-size mapping must be stated for each component.

Record the final drawing, artwork revision, component quantities, actual physical sample and approval before bulk production. Garment composition/care content, performance results and approver/date must come from the actual project.

Planning a Canadian-destination order? Use the Canadian specification review and physical-sample approval checklist, then include buyer-approved fibre/care content, applicable language versions and fold/seam dimensions in your care-label quote request. Identify Canada as the destination and keep the approved content, drawing and sample revision together.
