See the woven-label sample case on main logo and small text review for a comparison of the real photographed layouts.
Custom woven clothing labels provide sewn-in brand identification for apparel. Prepare your logo, the space available on the garment and the intended sewing position so CanKun can review the specification before you approve a physical sample.
Real woven-label samples: lettering and layout
These are photographs of our own produced woven-label samples, shared with permission. They show actual lettering and layout examples alongside the design references elsewhere on this page. However, confirm exact dimensions, yarn composition, fold specification and wash-test performance for your order.

Sample reference: dark lettering on a light background
The photograph shows three separate samples with the same dark lettering on a light-coloured background. For a similar design, review the letter shapes and spaces at the actual approved size, then confirm the finished label size and sewing allowance. However, the photograph has no measurement scale, so it is not a size specification.

Sample reference: main lettering and a smaller text line
This sample combines a large main word, a small flower detail and smaller lettering below. Therefore, check each element on the physical sample rather than approving only the large logo in a screen preview. Confirm small-text readability, artwork version and intended attachment before production; the photograph does not prove wash durability.
Prepare a sewn-in woven label specification
- Logo and artwork: send the artwork file or reference and identify the smallest text or detail that must remain readable at the finished size.
- Finished dimensions: state the visible width and height, and show any sewing allowance. Clarify whether the drawing shows the flat or folded label.
- Garment position: include a photo or sketch of the neck, waistband, side seam or other intended location. State whether the label will touch skin.
- Fold and reading direction: mark the requested fold, front-facing side and logo orientation. We confirm available construction with you during review.
- Colours and quantities: provide ground and logo colour references, plus quantities per artwork version, colourway or SKU.
Review the physical sample on the garment
Check logo detail and small lettering on the actual woven sample rather than relying only on a screen preview. Compare dimensions, colours, fold and edge with the approved drawing, then check how the label fits at the intended sewing position. If touch, washing or another performance requirement matters for your garment, agree the test method and acceptance criteria before bulk approval.
Finally, keep the approved artwork version and physical sample as the repeat-order reference. Mark any later change in size, colour, construction or packing instead of treating a similar logo as the same specification.
Order planning and a project-specific quote
CanKun publishes a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces, sampling normally around 3 days, and bulk production usually 7–15 days after sample and specification approval. However, we confirm final quantity, available materials and timing with you for your project. We agree shipping separately.

Questions about woven clothing labels
What should I send for a woven clothing label quote?
Send your logo or artwork reference, finished visible size, label position, quantity per design and destination. A photo or sketch of the sewing position helps clarify the fold and seam allowance.
Can the logo, size and fold be customized?
Share the requested logo, dimensions, colours and fold construction for specification review. Then we confirm available materials, construction and artwork detail with you for your project before sampling.
What is the minimum order quantity?
CanKun publishes a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces. Confirm the final quantity for each design, colourway and specification when requesting your quote.
How long does sampling take?
Sampling normally takes around 3 days after specification and artwork review. Confirm the timing for your own design and any requested changes before planning the order.
How long does bulk production take?
Bulk production usually takes 7–15 days after sample and specification approval, depending on the final specification and order quantity. However, we agree shipping time with you separately.
How should I approve a woven logo label sample?
Compare the physical sample with the approved artwork and drawing. Then check finished dimensions, logo and small lettering, colours, fold, edge and the actual sewing position. Record the approved artwork version before bulk production.
Made-to-order materials and construction
The labels pictured on this website are custom-made display examples, rather than fixed-specification stock items. CanKun can supply the materials, weights, folds and production processes listed on these pages. Straight-cut, end-fold and centre-fold constructions are available for custom review. Select the material, finished dimensions, colours and attachment details for your own order, then approve the matching physical sample before bulk production.
REFERENCE SPECIFICATION · 参考规格
Reference specification for a new sample
These are proposed values for a NEW sample. They are not measurements of the photographs, a recovered order, a signed production sample or a test result.
Existing evidence and its limits
Existing product descriptions and photograph observations remain above. The proposed dimensions, construction and packing below are not additional measured facts about those photographed samples.
Construction and dimensions
Reference option: 50D polyester fine Damask, non-metallic polyester colour yarns; visible face 60 × 20 mm, 7 mm end fold at each short side, flat cut size 74 × 20 mm. Colours and this construction are new design choices.
Artwork and attachment
Start with text 2.5 mm high and strokes 0.4 mm, with artwork 5 mm inside the visible edges. Trial stitch placement 2 mm inside each visible short edge. Confirm lettering, folds, edges and attachment on the physical garment sample.
Size and quantity reference for a coordinated order
For standalone woven or printed size labels, a planning example is XS/S/M/L/XL at 100 pieces per size: 500 pieces, packed 50 pieces per bag and separated by size. For a two-card hang-tag set, use the separate set-based example in the size guide. The unit, artwork version and actual garment-size mapping must be stated for each component.

Record the final drawing, artwork revision, component quantities, actual physical sample and approval before bulk production. Garment composition/care content, performance results and approver/date must come from the actual project.
Planning a Canadian-destination order? Use the Canadian specification review and physical-sample approval checklist, then include flat and visible dimensions, fold/seam allowances and logo artwork revision in your woven-label quote request. Identify Canada as the destination and keep the approved content, drawing and sample revision together.
