Project Brief: Sew-In Labels for Baby Clothing

First, prepare a sew-in branding label brief around the actual garment construction and intended label position. However, this buying checklist does not establish infant-safety certification or a verified material specification.

Request a quote for sew-in labels for baby clothing. If needed, you can edit the product, application and related-page reference in the inquiry form.

Show where the label will sit

First, share the garment style and a photo or drawing of the proposed seam. Next, identify which label face and edges remain exposed, the space available and the allowance captured by stitching. In addition, where several garment sizes use the same branding, check the placement on each relevant size.

Keep branding and garment information separate

For example, clarify whether the woven label is for a logo, size identification or another approved text version. Also, if the garment needs composition and care information, provide that as a separate label brief. However, do not assume a branding label alone covers the information required for the finished garment.

Review an installed sample

Next, ask for the proposed label specification. Then inspect the sample after your team sews it into the intended construction. In particular, review edge placement, folded corners, stitch capture and any contact with the garment wearer. Finally, record requested revisions before approving the reference for production.

Request evidence for any special requirement

If your project specifies a material restriction, test, certificate or buyer acceptance criterion, supply the exact requirement and request evidence applicable to the selected label. However, a product name or reference image is not proof of compliance. Therefore, keep the accepted reference and version list with the order.

For general woven-label options, see our custom woven labels category. Also, use the label repeat-order checklist to retain the approved reference and the care-label production guide when preparing separate care information.

However, the published MOQ and time estimates below are a starting point. Confirm quantities per artwork version and the final specification before agreeing the sample and production schedule; they are not guaranteed dispatch or arrival dates.

REFERENCE SPECIFICATION · 参考规格

Reference specification for a new sample

These are proposed values for a NEW sample. They are not measurements of the photographs, a recovered order, a signed production sample or a test result.

Existing evidence and its limits

Existing product descriptions and photograph observations remain above. The proposed dimensions, construction and packing below are not additional measured facts about those photographed samples.

Construction and dimensions

Reference option: 50D polyester fine Damask, non-metallic polyester colour yarns; visible face 60 × 20 mm, 7 mm end fold at each short side, flat cut size 74 × 20 mm. Colours and this construction are new design choices.

Artwork and attachment

Start with text 2.5 mm high and strokes 0.4 mm, with artwork 5 mm inside the visible edges. Trial stitch placement 2 mm inside each visible short edge. Confirm lettering, folds, edges and attachment on the physical garment sample.

Application-specific review

Review the installed seam, exposed edges and handling on the intended baby garment. This proposal is not infant-safety or skin-contact certification.
