A home-textile label brief works best when each sewn-in label and hang tag has its own approved specification. Bedding, towels, curtains and cushions can have different label positions, handling needs and SKU structures. Use the worksheet below to organise a quote request and a physical-sample review.
Request a home-textile label quote: enter the product types you need, enter “home textiles” as the application, and describe any specification you still need help confirming. Compare custom printed hang tags, custom woven labels, custom care and wash labels and specify each item separately in your enquiry.
Which details belong in each home-textile label RFQ?
For bedding, towels, curtains or cushions, prepare a separate line for the care label, woven brand label and retail hang tag. State the finished product, intended label position, destination, quantity by version and approved artwork. Compare the sample in its intended position, not only as a flat artwork preview.
| Item | Information to include | What to approve on the sample | Published review example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Care and wash label | Your approved care wording and language versions, finished dimensions, reading direction, sewing position and required material characteristics. | The correct wording and version, visible text after folding or sewing, layout and any separately agreed test requirement. | Care-label layout and language review |
| Woven brand label | Logo file, colour references, visible size after folding, seam allowance, quantity by artwork and intended position. | Logo and small-text appearance, orientation, folded size and the portion that remains visible on the finished product. | Woven-label logo and text review |
| Retail hang tag | Front/back files, stock preference, finished shape, requested finishes, hole and string details, plus SKU or barcode data by version. | Printed information, finish position, hole clearance and the assembled attachment; check any barcode on the actual printed sample. | Hang-tag layers and string review |
The linked photographs are published examples of the named review points. They do not confirm your order’s material, care instructions, compliance, wash performance or customer outcome. Keep any unconfirmed field visible in the worksheet below.
Confirm the starting quantity and approval timetable
CanKun Packaging’s published MOQ starts at 100 pieces; the final minimum is confirmed for the specification, quantity and artwork versions. Sampling normally takes around 3 days after artwork and specification review. Samples are free; shipping and special sampling requirements are confirmed separately. Bulk production usually takes 7-15 days after physical sample and specification approval, depending on specification and quantity. Shipping time is separate.
Use the ordering FAQ for the current terms and specification and document-review process for approval records. If you are still choosing a supplier, compare the same supplier questions and published terms. For a quotation, keep the destination and requested sample, production and delivery dates separate in your home-textile enquiry.
Start with the finished product
- Identify the product and the country where it will be sold.
- Show the intended label position in a sketch or photograph. State whether the label touches skin, is tucked into a seam, or is visible on the exterior.
- Provide the approved content and language versions for each product. Have your team review market-specific wording and any additional labelling requirements before sending production artwork.
- List the quantity for each SKU or version; a total quantity alone does not explain mixed designs.
Prepare a separate specification for each item
Care and wash labels
Supply the exact approved wording, symbols and layout. Define the finished dimensions, reading direction, attachment and required material characteristics. If durability matters, agree a test method and acceptance criteria for the intended product use. Avoid approving a performance requirement from an artwork preview alone.
Woven brand labels
Send the brand artwork, colour references and finished visible size. State whether dimensions are before or after folding and show the sewing allowance. Review small text and logo detail on the physical woven sample.
Retail hang tags
Supply front and back artwork, size, paper or material preference, requested finish, hole position and attachment details. Keep SKU, price and barcode data separate from the shared brand artwork so that changes are easy to check.
A three-part sample approval record
- Content: compare wording, language, logo and variable data with the approved file. Record the artwork filename and version.
- Construction: check actual size, fold, edge, stock or material, finish and attachment. Check the label in the intended product position.
- Order preparation: confirm quantity by SKU, packing identification and the approved sample reference. Record any changes before bulk approval.
Move from artwork proof to an approved production reference
For a US home-textile RFQ, ask the supplier to identify which sample is being offered: a general material example, a digital artwork proof or a physical pre-production sample made to your specification. A sample pack helps with selection; a digital proof checks the submitted layout. Neither replaces approval of the actual construction or an agreed performance check.
- Freeze the brief: record the item ID, specification revision, artwork filename and quantity by SKU.
- Approve the dimensioned proof: check wording, languages, front/back or fold orientation and variable data; log corrections.
- Review the physical sample: record its identifier and assess it in the intended sewing or attachment position. Complete any separately agreed test or inspection before accepting the relevant requirement.
- Release in writing: record the reviewer, date, approved reference and any open conditions. Match bulk inspection and packing to that reference; review later material, wording or construction changes before release.

When a parameter is still undecided
Explain the finished product and the decision you need help with. You can request a review without inventing a size, material or quantity. Share a reference where available, then confirm the selected specification and physical sample before bulk production.
